Ability Experience

More than 130 Pi Kappa Phi brothers will take on the summer of a lifetime starting next month. Together, they will cycle thousands of miles, attend more than 100 Friendship Visits and build connections that last far beyond the road.
Opportunities like this are unique to our brotherhood. This summer, we are inviting you to be part of it.
The Ability Experience is offering three ways to get on the road, connect with the team and experience a piece of the journey for yourself.
While this one comes after the summer, it is worth a look.
This three-day ride takes you from Grand Junction to Moab through some of the most scenic canyon country in the Southwest. Riders will travel through Unaweep Canyon, Gateway and Paradox, following the Dolores River along the way. Evenings are spent in the San Juan huts, fully stocked mountain huts that make this a one-of-a-kind experience.

Whether it is getting back in the saddle, riding alongside your son through his home state or supporting the crew in the van, there is a place for you.
Be sure to register at least 14 days before your intended ride.
Join the Journey of Hope North route as it approaches Colorado, June 26–29, 2026. Ride through some of the most scenic stretches of the summer and finish at Denver City Park for one of Journey of Hope’s most memorable Friendship Visits, Pedal for Pennies with Special Olympics Colorado.
With two ride options available, you can find what fits your schedule and make a long weekend out of it.
